I had to get up at 6 AM this morning to catch the 6:50 bus to Rijeka, so on the way to the autobusni kolodvor (your Croatian expression of the day), I snapped this nice early morning shot that I would like to share with you:
I arrived in Rijeka at 8:10, bought a ticket for Zadar and we left at 9 AM for a 4 hour bus ride! Lots of time spent on the road today! I don't know if you remember but at one point I had said that I would be sad to leave the area around Rijeka because the road there is so impressive with the big mountains all around us. Well, the bus ride to go to Zadar brings us by the coast (see on the map)
I have litterally no words to describe how amazing, stunning and beautiful the Croatian coast is. I took lots and lots of pictures of course but from a bus window it doesn't really look the greatest.
They're not bad really but let me assure you that seeing this in real life is not anywhere near what you see in the pictures. If you have nothing better to do with your money and time I would definitely recommend a little bus ride from Rijeka to Zadar, pretty much 4 hours of pure beauty.

I finally arrived in Zadar early this afternoon, honestly I spent pretty much the rest of the day running around town to find a place that would do my laundry haha. And once that was finally figured out, it started to rain. I still walked a little to take a few pictures:
I'm now sitting in a coffee place because it is litterally pouring outside, so I'm planning to spend a very relaxing evening. I can discover the rest of Zadar tomorrow :)
