And we are finally in the very last chapter of my trip, tonight at around 8:45 PM I arrived in Belgrade after a long day of driving. I will spend here the remaining days of my trip. The only thing left for me to do is to see my friends one more time before I leave, and I really hope I will get a chance to see everybody! I didn't give them much heads-up (not very nice of me!) so I hope they will be able to see me one last time!
Today I was worried that I wouldn't have much to tell you but hopefully my godfather came to the rescue by having a baby!! Yes, big news today, little Laurence was born this morning at 7:06 AM and everything is going great, so I would like to give my congratulations to the new parents!! I think everyone in my family is very excited (including myself). Little Laurence will be my perfectly bilingual cousin because she currently lives in Halifax. I'm jealous in advance! ;)
I have a few crazy plans for the next few days. Since I have seen pretty much what I wanted to see in Belgrade, I will try some activities that people here normally do. For example, before leaving from here I would like to try to have a haircut. If you have any other suggestions of things I could try please send them along because I need to find things to do to occupy my time, and hopefully be able to speak to some locals at the same time. A haircut is the perfect activity because hairdressers are usually very talkative. If you think of anything else let me know!
